Kazuri

Small and beautiful

The jewellery collection by Kazuri is produced on a country estate just outside Nairobi. The place once belonged to Karen von Blixen, known because of the movie «Out of Africa». The label's pearls are made of clay and painted with ceramic glazing. In special workshops, local women learn the technique to produce Kazuri's unique and colourful jewellery. Therefore, you as owner of such piece of jewellery support single women and enable them to care for their families.

Kazuri is acknowledged as Fair Trade by IFAT. In Swahili, one of Kenya's official languages, Kazuri means «small and beautiful».
